Who is Gunnar Krieger

Hi, my name is Robert Gunnar Krieger. Most people call me Bobby. I grew up in the woods of southern New Hampshire, and found an immense passion for Video Games at an early age. One day, I decided I wanted to make one, so after many tutorials from the fine people at GameDev.tv and YouTube, I learned to use Unreal Engine and never looked back. I enjoy what I do, truly, and wish the same for anyone else chasing their dream.

The name Gunnar comes from my Swedish grandfather on my mother’s side. Gunnar was a tall and good man. A carpenter by trade, but a outdoorsman by nature. He worked with his hands to build something new that could be appreciated for years after. I hope to achieve the same in my own way.

The name Krieger comes from my German grandfather on my father’s side. His name is Robert as well, and he is also tall and a good man. I’d like to believe I get my stubborn nature from him, which is exactly what keeps me going through all of the challenges and curveballs that Game Development can throw your way.
